Engine: The heart of the Daytona 660 is a liquid-cooled, 660cc inline three-cylinder engine that has been significantly reworked from its Trident 660 counterpart. It produces 95 PS (93.6 HP) of peak power at 11,250 rpm and 69 Nm of peak torque at 8,250 rpm, with over 80% of the torque available from just 3,125 rpm. This provides a flexible powerband with a responsive low-end and an exciting top-end rush.
Chassis & Handling: It features a dedicated sports frame, Showa 41mm upside-down big-piston (SFF-BP) front forks, and a preload-adjustable Showa monoshock rear suspension. This setup is tuned for agility and neutral, stable handling on public roads, offering a balance between sportiness and comfort.
Ergonomics: The riding position is a balance of sport and comfort, with clip-on handlebars positioned above the top yoke and foot pegs placed for good cornering clearance while maintaining comfort for long rides. The seat height is an accessible 810mm (31.9 inches), with an accessory low seat available.
Technology: Rider aids include a ride-by-wire throttle, three riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain) that adjust throttle response and traction control, and dual-channel ABS. The multi-functional instrument display features a color TFT screen integrated into an LCD unit, which is compatible with an optional "My Triumph Connectivity System" for turn-by-turn navigation and phone/music interaction.
